Providing an Excellent After-School Childcare Program
Ask Us is an independent nonprofit organization that provides a safe and fun place for school-aged children in West Islip, NY. Our affordable programs are perfect for public and private school students who are in kindergarten to Grade 6.
Mission Statement
We aim to alleviate any concerns that working parents have in our program. With this in mind, we designed it to promote the physical, intellectual, social, and cultural growth of your child. With us, you can be sure that responsible and caring individuals will always prioritize your child’s well-being. We offer two sessions every school day, from Monday to Friday.

Morning Session
The morning session begins at 7:00 a.m. and ends at 9:00 a.m. We serve breakfast between 7:15 a.m. and 8:30 a.m.

Afternoon Session
The afternoon session begins at 3:00 p.m. and ends at 6:00 p.m. Children are transported from their school to our program, and we always take attendance when they arrive. We then give the kids a choice of a healthy snack and beverage, and we encourage them to complete their homework in a quiet room before playtime.

We have indoor and outdoor playground areas, as well as a gymnasium, to promote the children’s gross motor skills. They can also learn the rules of good sportsmanship by doing activities in these areas.

Must possess excellent personal qualifications, be mature, be in good physical and mental health, and be able to have the energy and stamina necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of their position.
